The Registrars of Voters are responsible for registering voters by party affiliation and maintaining lists in accordance with state statutes. We receive information about voter changes from the state-wide voter registration system, annual town-wide canvass, the Motor Vehicles Department, and other towns, as well as from voters. The Registrars are responsible for maintaining an accurate, up-to-date list of all registered voters in the town and for overseeing all town meetings, elections, primaries and referendums.
